Dedication to Green Building

There’s a big difference between talking “green” and truly understanding what merits that distinction. Our Office of Sustainability is dedicated to ongoing research in green building. James Auditore, one of Allegheny’s principals, serves as our Director of Sustainability. His primary mission is to continually transform Allegheny into an organization that values sustainability and environmental stewardship. We wish to lead by example and will gladly offer any assistance to customers who are interested in achieving these goals.

Zero Waste-to-Landfill Policy

Allegheny has recycled more than 3,000,000 pounds of broadloom and carpet tile. Whenever possible, this material is restored and donated to non-profit organizations. If not, it is re-used in the manufacturing process or finds new life in products such as park benches, automobile accessories and curb blocks. None of it is disposed of in landfills.
